Another MoJo Monday sketch and vacation for me.
DH and I are off all this week and we are planning on going away
for a couple of days,that is if the weather cooperates,lol.
WE are having a yucky summer, the weather has been terrible,
most every day its been raining.

While I was making my card for todays sketch,I got the idea to make a treat

bag.

I bought the Top Note Die from SU, several months ago and it was still setting

on my desk.I remember seeing some bags, boxes made with this die.

So I googled and came upon this blog>>>>>>.Becky Roberts

What a wonderful blog, so creative with so many awesome ideas.

I changed the tut a bit and added a white bag I got from WM.

I shorten it to 3".The treat bag hold 6 Lindor chocolates....mmmmmmm

yummy.No I didn't eat any, the temptation was strong but I resisted, as I have to weigh in today.I am on a diet and I have lost 10 lbs so far.

This treat purse is so cute.

I will be making more of these to give away .So great for birthdays,

or as a thank you to a friend.

I love this sketch and decided to make another birthday card.
I can never have too many birthday cards,lol.
I pulled out some Cosmo cricket paper to play with for this sketch.
I am not a huge fan of bold and bright colors but I love the orange in
this card.
This past week went by so fast, I didn't get much time in my scrap room.
I have loads of new stuff I want to play with and since my schedule
for this week is pretty good,I only have one evening shift and with the holiday,
I will have more time to play.

Good MoJo Monday !

Good Mojo Monday everyone.
The past week has been very busy.
Our company arrived from England and we have been entertaining
them.Taking them all around the valley , showing them the sights.
We had a big family gathering on Sat. outside. The weather was calling for rain but it held off.All the planning and preparations went off with out an hitch.
Everyone enjoyed meeting them and there were a lot of emotions.
It was their first time visiting Nova Scotia.I also got to meet more of DH's family from all over Canada.
I manage to sneak away last nite before bed to make my card.
I didn't have an idea what to do , so grabbed the new papers I still had
on my desk ,some nesties and the first stamp set I saw.
All in all, I don't think it turned out to bad.

World's Best Husband!

Good MoJO Monday everyone.

I like to say I am sorry to my viewers that I haven't been posting regularly.

I work full time and the past several weeks I have been house cleaning

and painting.It has taken up all my extra time.

I have company coming from England this week, whom I have never met, and wanted my home to be extra clean ,not that it wasn't clean before,lol.I have been cleaning and painting like crazy.DH is asking why I am going thru all this , but all you women know what its like.....right? lol

I made this card for my DH, cause he really is the world's best husband.

He is always so caring and loving and is always there for me no matter what

I am going thru.He is my best friend, mentor,protecter and pillar of strength.

He is also so much fun to be with, he is always pulling pranks , cracking jokes and making me laugh.

This weeks sketch is a long card and its been awhile since I made one of these.

I didn't make it a standard long,my card is 7 1/2 "x 4".

A long standard envie is too long so will have to make an envie for this one.

I used some new papers I recently bought. The papers are Little yellow Bicycle.

When I saw this paper, I thought it would be great for masculine cards.

The green pattern paper is made using a ticket pass for the Macdonald bridge.

Who would have thought to see a paper made using something from

Nova Scotia.Here is a link to the MacDonald Bridge.

The bridge links Dartmouth to Halifax.

In some of my posts I have mention I have gone into the city to shop,this is where I go,its an hr away from me.

# 1 Dad !

Another Monday and another MoJo Sketch.
Julee is really rockin the sketches.I don't know
where she finds time to do all she has to do,lol.
There is just not enough time for me lately to
get all I want done.
I have company coming from England and I am trying
to finish off my house cleaning.
Its DH's first cousin and his wife and I have never met them.
So rushing like crazy to get everything done.
I just redid my bathroom and wanted shower curtains
in a certain color and couldn't find them anywhere.
So now I am gonna make them and just have to find time to
get them done.
Eeeeek, time is running out, so much left to do.
I wonder why we put our selves thur this.
Needing to have everything perfect for company.




I decided to turn my card into a father's dad card.
I used my new stamps from Verve and some paper from SU.
Even with my fab new stamps, I still struggle with masculine cards.
I so wanted to add more, but think less is best.

I decided to make a set using the Mojo sketch along with a little goodie

I created this card using Julee's sketch from
what is going on at the SOA forum.There are lots
of fun challenges and many prizes to be won.

I created this card using up more of the crate paper

I had on my desk. The blue is the flip side of the cream pattern

paper .In my previous cards I used green, the flip side of the black pattern paper.I made this card as a wedding card.I am stock piling cards to sell.

Birthday Special

Julee from Verve Stamps extended her sketch for the special
guest designer for the June release.I am so glad she did.
I had entered a card earlier and wasn't pleased with it.
So I redid the sketch for the 2nd time and I am loving this
card. I hope Julee does as well.

Since I still had the paper from my Mojo card left on my desk,

and I love how the colors went together so well, I decided to use it again.

I added a lot of bling to this card and the pics doesn't pick it up very well.

I stamped the flowers and cut them out and pop dotted them, added some branches, some rhinestones, ribbon.

My Husband!

Julee from Poetic Artistry is having another Verve
