Coffee with Flourishes!!

Coffee anyone? Isn't this stamp set wonderful from
Flourishes. Its so awesome to paper piece.
I made this card for a swap I was in , where we had to
use letters to spell out a word.I was quite pleased how
this card turned out.
I used crate pattern paper and the reverse sides
for the green and cream.Thickers for the letters and added some glitter
with a pen.MM rhinestone to the little flower in the corner.
MS border punch. Yummy black ribbon from walmart.

I made this card for my sister, who is a cancer survivor.
BG pattern paper, MA ribbon,FFiskars border punch,
$store dew drops.Paper pieced her outfit with some coloring using Tombows.MFT stamps.

My scraproom is still in a mess. I am still running between 2 rooms.I am off this weekend and Dh works, so hoping to get most of my stuff moved out of the other room and start purging. So I can get this room organize.

Out Grown My Scraproom& JustRite Stampers!!

I have out grown my scraproom and created a huge mess.

I had taken the smaller bedroom as my scraproom,

but with the 2 closets(which is where I store my clothes),

it gave me little wall space for shelves.

Dh has been after me to move into other spare bedroom.
Its a bit bigger and has no closets, so it would give me more wall

space to put up shelves.So last weekend we decided to move.

OM word, I didn't realize I had so much stuff, and what a mess I have created.

I have the big items moved in, like my desk,unit I had my papers in,

plus my cardstocks racks.Everything else is still in the other bedroom,

plus the stuff I took from this room. So now I am running between 2 rooms, lol.After moving into this room, I am beginning to wonder if its big enough,lol.

Its gonna take me several weeks before I am fully moved into

the new room and have everything organize the way I want it.I can only work on it a little in the evenings and weekends.I want to go thru some of the stuff and start purging.So needless to say, there won't be much cardmaking done.

I can't seem to find some of my stuff from all the piles I have created.

Once I get it organize, I will post some pics.

I do have a couple of projects done that I had been working on.

I will post one today and leave the rest to post over the next couple of days.

Views of the Box.

I had started this journal a long time ago and never finished it.

While switching rooms , I came across it and decided to finish it off for a

young woman at work. She decided to go back to college and I thought it would

make a great gift for her.I made her a card and a book mark to go along with it.After I had it done, I was looking for something to display it in and

I came across this box I had saved from the grocery store.

The box contained chicken strips.( I never throw anything away)lol. I took it apart and used it as a template making some adjustments to fit the journal. I even cut out the opening and added an acetate sheet.I was quite pleased how it turned out.

This card was done for a swap, where everyone was sent the same image
to create a card. I hope my swap friend likes her card.
I uses SCS Mondays" Try a New Technique"Challenge.
Square spring card.This was my first time trying this technique,
and it won't be my last.What a neat idea.It was very easy to do.
Around The Block Pp,image was coloured with Tombows.
WM ribbon.

Surprise Visit!!

I had a wonderful week but didn't get much done in card making.
This summer ,the weather has been so beautiful and hot, and I am taking advantage of it.
My brother and his family came to visit me this week, what a wonderful surprise. It has been about 7 yrs since I last saw my bro.When I went home to visit a couple of yrs ago , he was away.
They showed up at work and needless to saw I was so surprised, I started
crying.
It was so good to spend time with my baby bro and his family.
I hated to see them go.

2 cards I made for the 2sketches4you DT call.
The cards were based on 2 sketches from Kazan & Laura's .
Needless to say I didn't make the team,:( ,maybe next time :),
but I was pleased how both cards turned out.
