Merry Christmas From....

Silent Night !
the challenge for today is ......Christmas with a Twist !
You have to create a card or project for Christmas with no reds
or greens.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for this challenge, but I had pulled several papers that I could use for this challenges that didn't have the traditional
colors of red and green.
I played around with them for awhile, but couldn't get it to work for me and then I saw on my desk several challenges I had printed off I had wanted to try.
So I took the white challenge from SCS where you could only use white card stock and one color of ink.Everything seem to click into place for me
and I am quite pleased with out my card turned out.
I am loving the look of all white.
It also qualifies for the OCCC challenge this week.
For my white creation, I took a piece of white Cs and ran it thru my CB using A SU folder" Petals A Plenty", and then scored another piece of white CS, half inch apart with my Score it.I made the flower using the Nesties Poinsettia.
I stamped the sentiment with silver ink and then trimmed around
everything with a silver pen.Added some white pearls and a piece of white offray ribbon.Bow made using a bowmaker.
Supplies:
Paper:White CS
Stamps:Verve
Ink: MS
Accessories:Nesties poinsettia, nestie circles,Offray ribbon, MM pearls, silver pen, MS branch punch.

for christmas.

Happy-holly days .....
Today I am showing you a set I made for a group of 8 ladies I meet with
every month.
We meet once a month at my friend Kathy's house and make cards and we take turns bringing the dessert for the night. Its a fun night out and we learn
differents techniques.
I wanted to make them a little treat for christmas, so I made these cute little boxes and cards.I used the box found here>.>>2-5-7-10 Box.
I adapted the box a bit to hold my treats.I made it a bit taller with out using the
fold down flap.I rounded off the top of the sides on the boxes.
I added some hot chocolate packages,Biscotti, candy canes and some
mint sticks.
I keep the cards fairly simple and used some SU cardstock and some
christmas paper from a couple of years ago.I use Verve stamps and cut out the tree and holly and pop dotted them.I just Love my Verve stamps.
I made the little tags using nesties tags.Added some $store rhinestones.
They went over very well as all the women loved them.

$store rhinestones.
Thank you for visiting. I love to hear your comments.
Have a wonderful day.

SnowFlakes are Winter's Wonder!
of the month, its contest time again. So dust of your Mojo and get ready to stamp.
Since its a contest, that means Julee is giving away a prize.
We'll have one winner for every 75 entries, up to a max of SEVEN winners!!! Winners will receive the Verve Stamps set of their choice (up to a $24 value).
Snowflakes and more Snowflakes,On Sunday we had our very first
snow. We didn't get a lot, just a couple of inches of big white fluffies.
Every thing looks so pretty.
So when I looked at the MoJo Monday sketch for today, I decided to make a winter card with some snowflakes. This paper from SU was still setting out on my desk and I went with it.
I love the circles on the sketch that Julee designed.
I don't know how she juggles everything and still come up with awesome sketches.

Weaving....with ribbon!!
The challenge for this week ... to create a project that incorporates weaving
somewhere.
When I saw what the challenge was for this week, I was afraid it was gonna be time consuming and hard to do. I wasn't sure what to make, so when I am stuck , I always go to SCS and do a search and this is what I found.
I saw a card on there with this ribbon weaving and it lead me to this site for a tut on >>>>>>Ribbon Weaving
It was so easy and fast to do.I created a wreath with my weaving, added a bow and some rhinestones and .....Voila !
After having the wreath made, I searched thru my papers and found this sheet of PP from SandyLion.I've had this paper for some time and it matched my wreath perfect. The berries on the paper was a little dull, so I highlighted them a little with a Tombow marker.
I used a Fancy Tags for my sentiment.
I borrowed the tags from my friend( Thank You Kathy), since I done have them yet.
I have them on order and hopefully have them soon.

Supplies:
Paper:SandyLion
Stamps:Clear stamps
Ink: SU
Accessories:Offray ribbon, $store rhinestones,Circle nesties,rectangle nesties.
The sponsor for this week is Sassy Studio Designs with four
images of winners choice. How cool is that.
We also have another sponsor....Emma with Stampin-up,
She is giving away... Stampin' Up Tall Tales 12" Designer Paper Pack.
So get your mojo going and let us see what you can do with weaving.

Star Of Wonder......
Julee has designed another awesome sketch.
I found this sheet of shimmer cardstock in my pile, I believe it maybe
Bazzill, and decided to work with it. I kept my card very simple to show case the star.I added a few pearls and some white ribbon to finish it off.
I seldom keep my cards so simple, but with the shimmer CS, I didn't want to cover it up. I am loving the look of it.
I embossed the star and sentiment with white EMP.
