MoJo Licious Monday Sketch & Basket!

Hope everyone is having a MoJo-Licious Monday,
because Julee has another great MoJo Monday sketch.
I combined my MoJo80 with a Mojo-Licious Basket.
I was afraid I wasn't going to get this posted in time.
I had this done early on Sunday but when I went to take
a pic of my project, all my batteries were dead.
I have 3 sets, can you believe they were all dead??
I am thinking it may be my charger, because I had a set
in the charger and it was plugged in for a couple of days,
and showed they were charged but they still wouldn't work.
Finally manage to get a set to work.May have to get a new charger
and batteries.
Before I go into detail with my project, I want to remind you all
that Thursday April 2th is my 2nd Blogoversary and I will be giving away
some candy.I will upload a pic later tonight after I get home from work.

I received my Verve stamps last Mon. and had a hard time deciding

which set to use as I love them all.

I used my new Ek success border punch, Verve Practically perfect Bunny

with easter eggs from the Chocolate Bunnies set.

I colored her with Tombows and added some pearls to her necklace.Paper pieced her belly, pop the bow and the eggs.Added some stickles.

I used my MoJo80 sketch to go with my Egg-stra Special Spring

project.Julee and the diva's are showing off their creations still April 4th.

I enlarged mine to hold more candy.

Its filled with Belgian Creamy Caramel.....mmmmm.......yummy.

And No I didn't eat any ,lol.

This will be going to some one special.

I used my MS bunny border punch for the base of the basket.

Mojo Monday 79 !!

Welcome to another Mojo Monday.
Glad to see you. Julee has done it again,she has
designed another wonderful sketch.I so love her sketches
and I am so honoured to be part of her team.
My birthday was this past thursday and I had to work all weekend,
but manage to get Friday night off. Dh took me out to dinner
on wed night to celebrate as we were going into the city
to visit with my family on Friday.I spent the evening
with my 2 daughters, son, DIL and my beautiful granddaughter.
It was so nice to see her again. She has grown so much and is so sweet.
It took her awhile to warm up to me , I don't get to see her often.
They lived in ONt but now moved to NB.So now I can see her
more often.
It was a wonderful birthday.DH spoiled me as usual,lol.
He got me lots of new scrapping stuff.Gotta love that.

For this Mojo card I used some of the new things I got for my birthday.

I so loved the "fleur de lis " punches.

Julee is such an enabler, I saw them on her blog and wanted them so bad.

So Dh got them for me .I also got some new MS punches, more new stamps,

yummy papers.I still am waiting for my Verve stamps, but I am expecting them later today, hopefully. Usually takes me 2 wks to get my order from Verve.

White Mats with Black Rose Artichokes &Birthday Candy !

Wow, what a title.Several Challenges rolled into one.
I've been busy trying to catch up on some challenges I had saved to do.
I started out with each challenge but before long I had ended up
combining my challenges into one card.
I wanted to try the color challenge CC209 on SCS.
I loved this color combo, but didn't have the exact colors,so went with
what I had that was closest.I then went with this sketch SC218 from SCS,
I had saved from a couple weeks ago.After I had my card made, I realized
it also qualified for the challenge Sharon had posted.
It is also the Limited Supply Challenge on OCC.
I seldom make cards that are simple and without pattern paper,but I so love Sharon's cards and wanted to try this.I love the look of showing more white.

This card I made using the challenge from Flourishes.
I also went with more white showing.The Cs I used, really does match
my ribbon and stamp flower IRL.Not sure why its looks more blue.

Life Simple Pleasures with MoJo 78!

Happy MoJo Monday everyone.I love Mondays
because I get to show you my MoJo card.
I also have a couple more cards done to post , but
will do that later.
Guess what Thursday the 19th is........My Birthday,
and while celebrating my birthday, I am going to give away
some blog candy.SO come back later and I will have a post

Hard to believe I have been blogging for 2 yrs.

Also it a pleasure to part of Julee's MoJo team.
I am honoured to part of such an awesome group of Ladies.
I had a fun weekend shopping . I finally made it to Paulettes to
pick up some new papers.She is only open a limited time and
usually its the weekends I work.But she was open
all this weekend and I was off, wooohoo. I picked up some yummy papers.
I got this yummy Crate paper and couldn't wait to cut into it.
I also used this Verve stamp set for the first time.I just love the vase and the little flowers. I colored the flowers with TomBows.What fun it was to add stickles to the flowers.
I took a close up of the flowers, so you can see all the glitter.
I also decorated the inside of the card a little. I am loving the looks
of the inside of cards.

I love this sketch( I say that to all the sketches)lol.
Julee knows how to rock them out.I had fun with this one,
I used layers and layers, 12 I believe,lol.I didn't know when
to stop with the layers, I kept on going and going.Just like
the bunny,lol.I also didn't know when to stop with the
rhinestones.

Pink Chocolate Kiwi Butterfly !

Hi Peeps, I made this card for the color challenge CC208 on SCS.
The colors were Pink ,Chocolate, Kiwi.I didn't have the exact colors
so went with the closest I had.
I saw a card made similar to this awhile back at a scrap store, with the window
cutout and the folds.I have wanted to try it, so today I decided to step outside
the box.
I made this from memory and its not exact , I put my spin on it.
I thought my new Inkadinkado stamp set , I recently bought, would be perfect for this card..I so love this butterfly.
But I am pleased with how it turned out and will try this again.
I am uploading several pics so you can see how it was put together.

I used BG Infuse papers.I cut 2 cards 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.

Placed one inside the other , cut and scored.I cut the window and the scallop border with my long nesties.I did the folds with my score-it.I stamped

the butterfly, colored it with Copics, cut it out and glued it so it

would pop off the card and thru the window.I outlined the butterfly

with a glitter pen.It is really glittery and doesn't show up so much in the pics.

I used two Inkadinkado stamps to create the look of the butterfly with the tail.

I added some pink & green rhinestones .

MoJo76 Happy Easter !

Another Monday and another awesome MoJo sketch.Since this is the first Monday of the month, that means its contest time again and Julee will be giving away Verve Stamps as prizes.You have until Sunday at 8pm MDT. to get your entries in.

I don't know how Julee does it, creating all these wonderful sketches, but

I had fun with this card, but still not sure I am totally pleased with it.

I knew I wanted it to be a Easter card , but I have very little in Easter stamps.

So when making this card, I thought of a card Laurie had made awhile back,

and I loved the idea she had and always wanted to try it.So figured this was a good time to try,lol. You should check out her blog,if you haven't already.

She does amazing work.I used the same idea as Laurie, but my basket is way smaller, I think I could have cut it down a bit more.Tell me what you think?

I made the basket , weaving strips of paper 1/4.I used my new MS Cornice border punch.I just love the look of it.I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment,did some piercing.

I stamped all the eggs from Verve stamps and then cut them out.I also decorated the inside of my card.I really liked seeing the inside of cards,

so may do that to more of my cards.

Happy Easter with SFYTT !

Its Happy Easter using Jen's Sketches i{heart 2stamp}.
Jen posts a new sketch every week and they are awesome to work with.
I try to do them each week , I started last weeks on time but never
found the time to upload it, so I am posting both today.
I am on trying to stock up on Easter cards, so you may see
many more over the next couple of weeks.

The first card is this week's card sketch, and I am loving it.I used some new papers and a border punch I bought this weekend.DH took me into the city Friday night so I could do some shopping at Photo Memories and Michaels.Isn't he a sweetie?He is so supportive and such an enabler as well.He wanders around the store while I am busy looking at things and then he comes up to me and says"Do you want this?" or "Can you use this?"
He doesn't have to ask me twice,lol.He is a keeper for sure!!
I got another design card for my slice, some new papers, couple of punches,
couple stamp sets from Inkadinkado,and some ribbon and pearls.


I am loving this paper line by Kaiser Craft.The paper is double sided and
a good weight.SO many beautiful colors .I used my new border punch
on this card as well.I paper pieced the egg and chick.I outlined with a glitter pen.
I see many cards being decorated on the inside, so decided to
do the same.
