Another MoJo Monday !

Hello and welcome to another MoJo monday.
I hope every one had a good week.My week was yucky.
I had so much I wanted to do, but came down with the flu bug.
Seems lately, I am sick all the time.I think I am over the worst,
but still have a terrible head cold.Back to work tomorrow,oh joy.

Julee is amazing creating all the sketches for us.So nice to be able
to have them in advance.I am so lucky to part of this team.
I found this sketch a bit tricky, I was stuck on what to put where.
Usually I know what stamp set I want to use, then I select my papers.
This time I went opposite and for the life of me , I was stuck what
stamp to use and where to put it. I am blaming it on this head cold,lol.

I used more yummy papers I had picked up several weeks ago

when I was into the city.Normally I am not a big fan of the color

purpley( is this even a word,lol), must be my head cold.

But I love these two colors together.I stamped the flowers and the pot

on pattern paper and then cut them out,added some rhinestones.

Supplies:

Ink: SU chocolate chip

Accessories: MA ribbon, Kaiser rhinestones, Labels 4 nesties, Circle nesties,

sakura glitter pen.Computer generated word Mom.

Edit to add I cut the label die twice by hand.

I put the same die thru the machine , then traced the inside and outside of the die to get my 3 layers.I found too big a difference by using the next die up

or down in size. Hope this make sense.

I'm Back..............

Wow, I finally made it back....

After my mojo card last week, I came down with this flu

thats been going around.I couldn't help get it, as it went around work.

Most all staff have had it.

I was feeling great and even went for my walk that day, but that night

I was feeling it.I woke up next day and was so miserable, but I went into work

anyway.I manage to work for day and half and finally gave into it and came home and went to bed.I wasn't sleeping because I was up all night

coughing and barking.I think I am over the worst of it, all the yucky

feeling , aches and pains are gone, just stuck with the head cold.

Since I was feeling somewhat good today ,I decided to finish off a couple of cards I had started.I wanted to stock pile my Mothers day cards, but that didn't happen, so hopefully this week I can get more done.

I bought this yummy paper awhile

back and though that it was so suited for Mother's day cards.

I love what I did with this card. I used my Verve stamp set again.

I don't have any stamps for Mother's day. Whats up with that......lol.

I can't wait to get my new Verve stamps.

MoJo Monday #83

Another MoJo Monday and another wonderful sketch.

I don't know how Julee does it all,creating so many wonderful

sketches and then designing stamps. She just released more

new stamps and they are so wonderful. I can't wait to get them.

I had a rather hetic week, came down with some bug and

it took me several days to get over it, then Dh's puter crashed.

I manage to get everything backed up and he didn't lose anything.

He was so worried about his genealogy files.

He is so into genealogy, I have him researching my family now.

He spends hrs and hrs at it.He has many people contacting him and

looking for info.

Isn't this sketch awesome. I love it, I say that about them all,lol.

I had fun with this sketch and made it into a Mother's day card.

I will be doing more cards for Mother's day as I will be selling them.

I found someone who will take them and sell them for me.

Wish me luck with this.

For this card I stamped the flowers, cut them out and pop dotted them , added a pearl to the centers. I used my new Ek border punch Zig zag stich

and staggered the layers. Added some pearls.I am loving this card and very pleased with how it looks.

MoJo Monday 82!!

Good MoJo Monday Morning and Happy Easter.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter,We had

Dh's Mom in for dinner. I wasn't good company,

I picked up a bug and haven't been feeling so hot.

I woke up around 3 am Sunday morning feeling yucky

and have been spending most of the time running

to the bathroom since then.What ever I eat, doesn't agree with me.

I hope I feel better soon.

Todays MoJo sketch is so awesome, I love it.

Julee has done it again.She is so creative with the sketches.

I will be using this sketch again, I already have more ideas

for it,lol.

Most everything on this card is SU, except the ribbon and stamps.

Here's my card for this weeks MoJo Monday Sketch.

This sketch was really a struggle for me...I guess thats why its a challenge,lol.

I loved this cross and wanted to use it and then struggled with what to use for the remaining panels.After many many tries and running out of time, I finally went with this. I love the colors I used but not sure I like what I did.

I guess I am to critical of my work,lol.

I paper pieced the cross and layered the butterfly.I added a bit of glitter

with Gelly roll pen.I found this yummy sheer ribbon in my stash

and it matched so perfect.
