Good Monday Morning .....MoJo Monday Fans!
Its time for another MoJo-licious sketch.
Wow, time is really flying, hard to believe its the end of Nov.
I've been so busy with work and my volunteer work, plus working on a few projects as gifts.All I need now is time to upload them. Hopefully I will get them
on my blog some time this week.
I am off today but I will be spending most of it at the fire hall, as the Ladies Aux .have a catering job to do tonight.I won't get home till about 10pm.
We have 2 more catering jobs before Christmas,plus I am on the social committee at work and we are planning a christmas party for that.Then DH has his christmas party for the fire dept.Makes for a couple of more busy weeks.

Weaving....with ribbon!!

Weaving with Stamptacular.......
The challenge for this week ... to create a project that incorporates weaving
somewhere.
When I saw what the challenge was for this week, I was afraid it was gonna be time consuming and hard to do. I wasn't sure what to make, so when I am stuck , I always go to SCS and do a search and this is what I found.
I saw a card on there with this ribbon weaving and it lead me to this site for a tut on >>>>>>Ribbon Weaving
It was so easy and fast to do.I created a wreath with my weaving, added a bow and some rhinestones and .....Voila !
After having the wreath made, I searched thru my papers and found this sheet of PP from SandyLion.I've had this paper for some time and it matched my wreath perfect.The berries on the paper was a little dull, so I highlighted them a little with a Tombow marker.
I used a Fancy Tags for my sentiment.
I borrowed the tags from my friend( Thank You Kathy), since I done have them yet.
I have them on order and hopefully have them soon.

Star Of Wonder......

Welcome back to MoJo Monday and a sketch to kick start your week.
Julee has designed another awesome sketch.
I found this sheet of shimmer cardstock in my pile, I believe it maybe
Bazzill, and decided to work with it. I kept my card very simple to show case the star.I added a few pearls and some white ribbon to finish it off.
I seldom keep my cards so simple, but with the shimmer CS, I didn't want to cover it up. I am loving the look of it.
I embossed the star and sentiment with white EMP.

Autumn Wishes..........Stamptacular

Good Morning everyone and welcome back to another Stamptacular

Challenge.

The challenge for today is Nature-tacular !

To create a card or some other project that reminds you of being outside, using only natural colors you'd find in the fall.

This card reminds me of the beautiful fall weather we are having.

All the beautiful color leaves falling and the beautiful warm temps.

The month of Nov. has beem gorgeous with temps in the high teens.

I can handle a fall like this. I hope the winter is as good,since we had a short summer.

I used some papers from the Little Yellow Bicycle" Autumn Bliss".

The papers in this book are awesome, they are all very shinny.

It doesn't show up very well in the pics.

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch.What an awesome sketch.

While blog hopping earlier, I think it will also qualify for

the OCC color challenge this week as well.How cool is that, 1 card and 3 challenges done.

O Christmas Tree.....MoJo Style

Welcome back to another MoJo Monday and another
wonderful sketch our fab leader has designed.
I don't know how Julee does it all, designing stamps and sketches.
I used my Verve stamps from the last release and I have to say they are
awesome.So many wonderful stamps to create Christams cards with.
I find myself reaching for Verve stamps all the time and the rest of my stamps never see ink,lol.
For this card I had fun playing with glitter, you should my desk, everything
is covered with it,lol.
I stamped the tree in Old Olive ink on some very vanilla CS, added some glue and then sprinkled some MS glitter over it and put it aside to dry while working on the rest of the card.I just love all the sparkles on this card. The pic doesn't do it justice.

Merry Christmas .........MOJO112

Hi MoJo Fans, its time for another MoJo Challenge.
Julee keeps knocking out awesome sketches.
For my card I used more of the Su paper from my last project.
It was still setting on my desk, not put away.I also used my new stamps from Verve.
This release has been awesome, so many wonderful stamps to choose from.
This has been a killer week for me.We did inventory at the store.
I worked all last week and the weekend and right thru to this past weekend.
I worked till 10 pm on Sat. and then back at it again 8 am Sun. morning.
I am heading into work again to day, I am so glad to have the next few days off,
also so glad that inventory is over with for another year.

I stamped the poinsettias on the red PP , cut them out and pop dotted them
onto the wreath. I also cut and popped the bow.
I added a couple pieces of leftover paper to the inside of my card with a few poinsettias.I love decorating the insides of my cards as well.

Snow Wonderful .......Stamptacular

Hi again Peeps, its time again for Stamptacular Sunday's Challenge.
Its been a really busy and hetic week for me.We are doing inventory
this weekend at the store and I have to work all weekend.I worked last Sat. and Sun, plus working again this weekend and then again next weekend.
Will be so glad to get this inventory over with, I have been prepping the last 5 weeks and its been a tiring few weeks.

The challenge for this week is a sketch.
When I saw the sketch for the first time , I thought it would be a toughie,
and really wasn't looking forward to it,but once I got started on it , it came together really good.
I am pleased with how it turned out.
I used some paper from SU, its so yummy.
I hope you all will try it.

Happy Birthday Mom !

Hi every one,Here is a set I made for my DMIL for her birthday
in Oct.I am just getting around to posting it.
It seems I have been bitten by the bug to make more than a card lately.
I am having fun thinking outside the box and coming up with different
projects for some very special people.
My DMIL turned 85 and what do you get for someone that age?
She is still very active and lives by herself.
Since she loves chocolate, I made her a little treat basket and filled it with little Hersey chocolate bars.I made a little gift card holder and gave her a gift card to her favorite place to eat.
She goes there most every Sunday after Church with all the ladies from her
group.
DH and I also took her for dinner on her birthday as well.
She loves going out to eat.

I found the basket on SCS and thought I had saved the link.

But I can't seem to find it anywhere, I even searched SCs but no luck.

I believe the gift card holder came from SCS as well.

I loved this sketch and made it into a Christmas card.
I told you most of my cards from now in would Christmas.
I went thru all my stamps and pulled out everything Christmas

and put them all into a container on my desk.

I cut into this pad of yummy paper from S.E.I. "Winter Song"

I found it at Michaels and used a coupon, so got it for a really good price.

I did a technique I love doing....Paper piecing.

Coffee & Friends with..............Stamptacular !

Welcome back to Stamptacular .
The challenge this week is "Friendship".
You have to create a card for a friend plus there is a catch...
you have to create your own background pattern paper or cardstock
and use it on your card.
I think I fell short on this challenge this week.I didn't see the background
part till I was writing this up,lol.Pays to read everything,lol.
Actually I would have been ok if I had posted the project I was working on.
Believe it or not I did do something with the background, not knowing that it was a requirement,lol.But it didn't work out the way I had planned it , so I put it aside and did this card , as I was running late with the challenge.
Hopefully I can salvage some of it and post at a later date.
For this card I did sponge some ink on the main panel.
