Hello and welcome back to another MoJo Monday.
Todays sketch can be either round or square.
I went square, but I went a bit out of my comfort zone.
After my card for last week, I realized I don't use purple
much in my card making.
I created my card around the flower,lol.
After rummaging around in the dollar bins at M's
this past weekend, I found these yummy looking purple flowers.
So, I then went on the hunt for some purple papers.
M's didn't carry much, but I manage to find these 2 papers.
They matched the flowers perfectly.On my way to cash, I found this ribbon in a bin and it also matched.It has a bit of shimmer.
I also found the rhinestones in the dollar bins , but they were
also 50% off.



In my pic, the ribbon and ink seems to be a tad off color.
IRL, they match perfectly.
The flowers were in a bunch and a tad bit higher than you would
use on a card, but they were very easy to press down.


M's also had a really big mark down on their Valentines stuff.
I rooted thru and found some amazing deals.
I got loads of red, pink and silver rhinestones for like 12cents a pkg.
I also gots loads of other stuff as well for a bargain.
Sure will come in handy for next Valentines.

Week 3 Sketch by Teresa.

What a fun sketch to work with,this card came together in minutes.
I have a wedding coming up and since I still had these dimensional
stickers from M's still setting out on my work counter, I thought they
would be excellent for a wedding card.
Pulled out some SU paper with some sparkles, verve stamp and volia.



Week 4 sketch by Andrea.
I love the split panel on this sketch.

Springtime Smiles.....MoJo179

Hi and welcome back to another MoJo Monday.
Todays sketch is fun to work with and brought to us
by Mary.
When I saw the sketch for today and saw that the center panel
was round , I knew what I wanted to use.

These metal flowers and diecut butterflies were still setting out

from when I purchased them last week at M's.

I was bound and determined, I was gonna use them.
So I went searching thru my stash of papers to find

something to match.

Can you beleive all the papers I have, I didn't have much in the

shade of purple, lilac or yellow.

I love purple as a color for my clothes but tend to shy away from it

when cardmaking.

I manage to find this sheet of purple paper from BG ,

but no CS to match, so I went with the golden yellow to pick

up the yellow in center of the flower.

Since the butterfly was all glittery, I added some stickles to center of flower.Finished off with some matching ribbon and bling.

Since it look so springy, I went with this spring sentiment from SU.

I don't know about you all, but I am ready for some spring

weather. I've had enough of the snow.

Last week , we did have a couple of mild days and you can see the snow

disappearing.

Come on Spring !!

Anniversary Wishes.......Getting my Diva On !

Here is my card for the challenge.


I've seen many big cards done lately and wanted to try one.
Since I don't have the grand nesties as yet,I found a scallop circle svg file
online , enlarge it and then cut it out with my Cricut using SCAL.
I am having fun using my Cricut and Scal program Dh got me for Christmas.
The grand nesties are on my wish list along with the grand calibur.
(Have a birthday coming up in March, wondering if Dh will get the hint,hehe)

My inspiration for this card.
1. Color scheme

4. Silver from the utensils and vase
5.Heart Bling from the Rice Krispies heart treat
6.Sparkle on the flowers from the sparkle of the glass

Masculine Cards........

Hi everyone, just popping in to show a couple of
masculine cards I made.
I don't know about you all but I find it very hard
to make a masculine card.I always want to pretty it up.
I knew I had to make DH a valentine card, he wouldn't let
me forget it if I got him a store bought one.He is my biggest
fan and supporter.
So I went searching thru my stash to find the perfect paper
for a guy that wasn't feminine.I found this striped paper from CI.
Along with some HOTP papers.
From there I went searching for things to make it manly,lol.
I used some MM hardware and then found this awesome jute
ribbon in my stash. It had a WM sticker on it, but I believe it may have been a rak .
I figured a valentine's card wasn't complete, unless it had an heart. So I found these chipboard hearts and covered them with matching paper.
Its amazing what you find when you go searching
thru your stash.I looked in containers and drawers that I haven't been in for quite some time,lol.I found some neat things I forgot I had.
So needless to say I brought a few things out to use in the near future.

I covered a chocolate bar in matching paper.

I gave him a Tim card for his coffee.

Complete set along with a little package of cinnamon
hearts and a book mark to go with the book I bought him.

He loved it.

Over the weekend , we had a birthday to go to.

One of the guys from our Oldies Car Club turned

65, so I made this card and put tim card inside. He also loves his

Timmys.I had made a pocket on the inside of the card but forgot

to take a pic of it.

I found this paper at M's.Its from Recollections.

Hi MoJo Fans, welcome back to another fun week,
with another awesome sketch.
This sketch was very easy and fun to work with.
My card came together in minutes.
I have been in my room most all day ,and have many cards
and projects done to show you.
I believe this is the most valentines card I have ever made.
I can't keep up with them,(I am not complaining,lol.) I have taken many into work and more
to a craft store to sell.I think I sold about $100. at the store alone.
I have a couple more to take into work in the morning , just in case
some one forgot to buy their wife a card,lol.






I still had some of this paper setting on my desk from a previous
card I had made, along with this pack of Jolee's flowers, plus the lacey
doilys.
It matched the paper so pretty, I just had to use them.

A True Friend ......Shabby Tea Room DT Call

Shabby Tea Room is having a Dt call and here is their
inspiration piece for the challenge.
'Pretty in {pink} Polka Dot Tea Party'



I decided to throw my hat in the Tea room this time around.
I am just getting this in under the wire, so wish me good luck.
I had started this project earlier in the week but didn't get it done till last night. I had to go in for some day surgery on Thursday, so wasn't
feeling up to par for a couple of days.

When I saw the colors of pink and black, I went searching thru my

stuff to see what I had. I found a sheet of Pink & white paper from

MM and a sheet of black and white from Heidi Swapp.

A sheet of black shimmer from HOTP.

I also found this black outline heart in my stash and no idea where its from.I picked up these Flower stickers from M's and ribbon from WM.
MS heart border punch and Verve's Stamps.
SU brad and filigree on the front of the drawer.I covered some Hershey

nuggets in the matching papers.

Nesties for the opening in the drawer and on the front of card and belly band.

I can't take credit for the idea of this card drawer box, I first saw it on Susan's blog .

There were no instructions for it , so I just eye balled it and made my own,with my own sizes.I am pleased with how it turned out, after a few trials and errors,lol.Good thing I tried this with old Cs first, with out ruining my good papers, as I used up all the paper for this project.

Valentine Cards....

Hi there, popping in to change the scenery.
Here are a couple of cards I made this week.
I am stocking up on my Valentine cards, since this is the
time I sell a lot of cards.
I took a lot of my things to a craft
store for the Christmas season and did very well with it,
so decided to take some of my Valentine
cards and goodies in to see if I could sell a few.
I also take Valentine cards into work to sell to the men, since we are
a male populated store and they always tend to forget or
wait till the last minute to buy something for their wives.
So for the past week , I've been busy creating.
Over the past couple of days I have sold over 12 cards
to the guys and still have a few more to get.



For this card I used Jen's Sketch

I created this card for Timeless Tuesdays"Button Up".
I found these 2 heart button in my stash and have no idea
where they came from.

For my card I used up some scraps of paper I've been
using over the past couple of weeks.
My room was a mess and I finally got it cleaned again.
While cleaning off my desk, I put all the bits and pieces of paper in
a pile to try and use up.So hence my card.
